Day 7 Magic Practice (The Magical Way out of Negativity)

So often it is easy for us to allow our minds to harp on all the negative experiences in our lives. Bad experiences leave scars and emotional burdens that haunts us for many years of our lives, and it is normal to feel angry, resentful, and depressed about it, after all, we were hurt. However, these thoughts will never serve us in a positive way, it will only hold us back, as the law of attraction ensures that whatever feelings that you put out to the universe, will multiply. The universe will not nurse your wounds, nor will anyone else. As the saying goes ‘laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone’.

So how can we improve our lives despite the reality of unfortunate events? The important thing s is that you do not try to forget, suppress, deny, or lament over it. Instead, do think of how the bad situation has served you positively. Please note, that this does not mean condoning a bad situation (example if you were abused) but more how the situation, has or can strengthen you as you rise above these challenges.

For example,

If you had an unloving mother, the experience will strengthen you to love and embrace your own children once you have them.

If you lost your job, be grateful that now you have an opportunity to find a better, more inspiring career.

If you ended a relationship be grateful that this person taught you what bad character traits to watch out for in future relationships, and to set your standards higher.

If you have been abused in any way and have been healed be grateful that you are in a powerful position to guide and support others who are currently in the same situation.

It might be tough at first, but seeing the good in every bad event allows you to appreciate your experiences on your life journey as valuable, as an initiation that has made you stronger and wiser to conquer problems in future.

So often we are trapped in the cycle of negative thoughts and feelings that serves no purpose, than to oppress you further. Now is the time to go back to these thoughts and feelings and turn them around so that they can serve you more purposefully, and lead you on the path of inspired positivity.
